Detecting angled, non-vertical cracks has always been subject to limitations owing to the positioning of the lasers. Thanks to the use of 4 specially positioned lasers, the Angle Cracks Module (ACM) is able to provide decisive additional information. In the event of shallow cracks, an additional contrast is created on the top and bottom side, which even enables the detection of cracks that are difficult to identify. In addition, this also improves overall crack detection and minimizes the risk of over-detection of defects.
