CombiScan+ everything seen with one look

In the modern woodworking industry fully automated, high performance lines are already becoming more common in raw material production. A scanner integrated upstream in the process is an integral part of this complete system.

The scanner gathers the relevant wood information (knots, color etc.) from all sides in a split second and provides it to the machines in the production line – such as rip saws and cross cut saws - at full production speed.

A Simple View Of Scanning Processes

Without these automated detection systems it would be difficult to ensure full production within complete systems. In addition the control technology faces the highest demands.

The development department at WEINIG provides solutions for highly automated production lines. We guarantee a reliable production process for both hard and softwood.

The Luxscan line of CombiScan+ scanner systems are available in the following configurations:
  • CombiScan+ C - For crosscut lines. Compatible with all through-feed OptiCut crosscut saws.

  • CombiScan+ R - For automated rip lines. Compatible with all ProfiRip series rip saws and OptiCut crosscut saws. Get the optimum ripping AND crosscutting solution at the same time!

  • CombiScan+ S - Developed for sorting of material by color or characteristics for panels and many other applications.

Take a look at the menu items above for in-depth explanations of the features of these models.
