SafetyPlus - The Revolution For Safety In Rip Saws!

Already in the past, ripsaws from Raimann met the highest demands in terms of safety. With the fivefold protection against kickbacks and splinters, Raimann provides better protection for the operator against kickbacks than do all other manufacturers of ripsaws - and exceeds the regulations of the CE standard 1870-4.

Our previous fivefold protection against kickbacks:

Lower anti-kickback devices against splinters.
Upper anti-kickback devices against kickbacks of whole boards.
Upper anti-kickback devices against splinters.
Additional anti-kickback devices as "sealing" to Pos. 3
Upper anti-kickback devices to prevent cut parts from tipping sideways when cut.

This is the safest design in the industry - until now.

The Additional Revolutionary System - SafetyPlus

The additional anti-kickback devices (Pos.4) of the existing protection system are being replaced with a "curtain" made of Kevlar. This material, known for bulletproof vests, drags on the chain and thus eliminates the constructional gap between the chain and the previous anti-kickback devices. Due to the complete sealing of the cutting area with SafetyPlus, kicked back splinters are caught reliably inside the machine. This means optimum protection for the operator.

The additional safety provided by SafetyPlus has been officially confirmed by the munitions proof house Mellrichstadt in Germany after a test with 5.4mm NATO standard ammunition. Various government safety organizations attended the extensive tests and are considering including SafetyPlus in the CE standard.
