Weinig OptiControl: Non-contact measuring of all knives and cutterheads.

The OptiControl Measuring System optically measures the diameter of the cutterhead to compensate for re-grinding, and allows you to select the critical dimensions of the profile (both radial and axial points)for confirmation at the moulder. The 20X optical enlargement allows precise measurement point location.

It measures PowerLock heads as standard, and the supplied adapter shaft lets you bring the same accuracy to your existing conventional heads, hydro heads, saw blades or just about any tooling. Measure from the center of the head for moulder setting or check tolerances from any point to point of a profile knife or template. Very useful as a knife setting stand.

It works well as a stand-alone unit, but the benefits really shine when it is interfaced with the PowerCom control system. Push the button, measure the head, and the data is instantly transferred to the moulder or multiple moulders.
