DIMTER OptiCut 450 - The power package for
universal applications
The Dimter OptiCut 450 Series is a
perfect fit for high output applications.
The
powerful crosscut saw has the ability to handle bowed and
twisted lumber with ease. By collecting the cut data
at the measuring station and then transferring the
information to the saw, inaccuracy due to slippage
on the conveyor belt is completely eliminated. This
system also minimizes wear on the belt components.
The Dimter concept operates with great reliability
and guarantees high daily output.
The OptiCut 450 can cut up to 12"
wide at speeds up to 984 ft. per minute.
The Dimter OptiCut 450 XL is the
giant of the Dimter through feed saws. More feed
power and wider rollers let you cut timber up to 8"
thick and 17" wide and is equipped with variable
speed. Anywhere from 390 ft, per minute for the
enite cross section range and switchable to 585 ft. per minute
for smaller cross sections.
The OptiCom Direct control and
state-of-the-art Dimter software provide maximum
material yield through optimizing and defecting of
the ingoing lumber. The touch screen enhances the
simple operation.
The VarioSpeed, a Dimter patent,
minimizes the gap between the ingoing boards to the
saw. This unique and important feature can increase
the saw output by up to 20%. Gap minimization is one
more Dimter feature that separates us from the
competition.
The Waste Gate, a Dimter patent, is
a great asset to the sorting line. Only the good
pieces are transported to the kickers and sorted
according to your specifications.
To automate the cross cut
operation, Dimter offers de-stacking solutions and
automatic defect recognition systems such as
scanners. On the outfeed side, we have a large
variety of sorting and transfer options.
