LuxScan Technologies, the newest member of
the Weinig Group, is proud to announce the sale of its 50th
scanner in the North American market.
The scanner was sold to a large manufacturer of hardwood
kitchen cabinet components located in central Pennsylvania. The
scanner will be part of a work cell in conjunction with the
crosscut optimizer Dimter OptiCut 200 Elite.

is a great example of the Weinig Group single source solution
that is provided to all customers around the globe."

Hildebrand, North American business manager for LuxScan adds:
"The work cell will be running hard maple and red oak at speeds
up to 540 feet per minute through the scanner, feeding the fully
automated OptiCut 200 Elite cross-cut saw. The line will go into
production the first quarter of 2008.
